NMMA Researching Potential Problems

John Adey, ABYC, Tom Marhevko, NMMA and I met with the USCG yesterday to discuss 10% ethanol fuel and boat fuel systems and decide whether the US Coast Guard should do something to investigate this.
As a result of the meeting, it was agreed that the US Coast Guard will fund a study to look at various materials used in boat fuel systems and determine if E-10 effects long and short term durability. Bob White, IMANA Labs is putting together a proposal which we will have an opportunity to review prior to approval.
